Oh i must confess i was all happy when i got the new that Explosions In The Sky were not playing in Portugal anymore because i’m away this week and yeah i was being super dumb and super selfish, they were the  main reason along with Death Cabe For Cutie why i wanted to go to Primavera Sound, but the guys just left a note telling the reason why they can’t come, now i feel bad :( hope evertyhing goes well, i know how it feels missing something important due illness of a familar… here is their note

“Dear Portugal,

We are sorry to announce that we will no longer be playing at this year’s Primavera Festival in Porto. There is a serious illness in one of our families and traveling overseas is not really an option for us at the moment. Missing shows is not something we take lightly and hopefully we can make it to Porto sometime in the future. Thanks for understanding.
